    rolleyes Brake Upgrade What's Needed

Hi all, i'm hoping if someone can tell me exactly what i need to upgrade my front brakes on my Vectra c sri cdti 150 54reg. I want to upgrade the calipers, discs etc but do i have to change carriers or is there a caliper that will bolt straight on with bigger discs that will fit in 17" wheels. Any help would be much appreciated as i've just put on a DTUK box and done the airbox mod and find myself climbing the seat everytime i try to stop!

No worries , like I said , ebay's your best bet , or for new I think lmf do a kit but it's pricey , and rarely in stock.
Expect to pay between £100 and £200 second hand.

So you'll need; 314 caliper carriers, 314 calipers, discs and pads. The carrier mounting bolts are the same so you don't need to worry about them (unless yours are damaged at all).

I priced this lot up individually recently; pads + discs (pair) were approx £65, calipers approx £100 ea. Only problem was the caliper carriers, I could only get them from Vx at approx £70 EACH! So that would add up to approx £400+VAT.

If the caliper hangers were more reasonably priced, it would be a good + cheap upgrade.

I went for the 302mm upgrade. Calipers and carriers sitting in a box, just need to get discs and pads and some time.

Can anyone please provide the part numbers for the 314mm setup i.e. calipers, carriers, discs and pads. It's hard to get any quotes without secifying part no.s.
