Sorry to hijack Penner's, but I've had thought recently, I think it's all to do with oxygen levels, as we create more carbon and there's less trees to eat it and convert it I think mother nature is restoring a balance through melting ice which contains oxygen, almost like a bank that deals oxygen rather than money, I'm almost certain if we had more trees to produce oxygen the melting of the ice would slow down, I know I've not written it fully explanitory right now as I've just finished a 10 hour shift, but if anyone can get what I mean post away you're thought's.

One last way I can think to explain, imagine the earth is a plasterer, normally it uses 30% water to 70% plaster, but recently it only has 50% plaster in reserve, but it has a plaster plant that can supply the missing amount, so the normally dormant plaster plant is now releasing 20% plaster into the mix.

It's ok, no-one else bothered to reply, and someone deleted me off Facebook for trying to tell them the whole thing was pointless...

What she doesn't realise, is that I'll still get the e-mails updating me on her conversation about it all....

until someone actually proves that global warming is actually related to CO2 outpute by humans and not just the normal cyclical climate of the plant I'll not bother too much.
