I need to change the brake discs and pads all round. How much are the brake discs and pads from vx? Also are these mintex ones worth the extra cash?

I run Mintex OE pads on the front. Better bite than factory VX but about the same dust. They need plenty of copper slip to stop squeal. Would I buy again..........yes.

one of the selling points of mintex brakes is that they are supposed to produce less brake dust than most other brands and are generally sold as a top brand product, however they are also known to squeal a bit too..although if you use mintex ceratec instead of copper grease(not adviseable to use on a lot of modern cars now) this is suppose to help..

Why not buy from a motor spares shop? I was quoted £16 a disc for my old Vectra C.
