I notice they do a remap or new software as they put it for the 1.9CDTi. Anyone had theirs done by them? Wonder if they are encountering problems like VXRPerformance?

Regal claim an increased red line to 5600 and 350lbft, 888 don't increase the red line and claim 330lbft. Don't think they can be the same on that basis.

On another note, Regal do poor work, never get anything when they say they will and tend to ****** cars up and blaim the owners (Even threaten to attack them). So I would suggest you go else where, it will be cheaper too.

Is that through personal experience or just hearsay? Most times i've seen people write about Regal, they have nothing but praise for them.

I'm personally waiting on VXR, but was browsing around today and saw Regal, thought it wouldnt hurt to have comments.

I've had four dealings with Regal, every time it cost more than anywhere else, They could never get stuff when they said, they once ordered the wronge bit, they told me a cone filter didn't exist for my car until I pointed to it on the K&N web site, the cone arrived late and bashed up, they cocked up the tunit of my Tunit box (tuned it and then reset it to standard) and I prove said by sending it to the manufacture but they said they did what they were payed to do and threatened to attack me if I went back. Oh and they drilled holes in my car for some of my lighting without asking when I had gone in to get a Lexmaul tuning box?!? Completely unrelated.

So yes I have HAD experience of them but no longer waste my time or money.

The software used by Vx centre and regals is the same .

TBH i have never heard anything bad about Regals but what i have heard is that the customer service aint what it should be..Its all about personal preference..I.e which is closer

Well I have the 888 remap and haven't noticed an increase in red line. On top of that, the Remap only took her upto 187bhp and 300lbft. I am using a tuning box aswell to get my results while the map is being re-writen.

This might be a stupid question but what wil the increased redline do to a diesel considering it will run out of puff before it even thinks about the redline??

The 1.9 is very well balanced and the small cylinders mean it can burn the fuel faster so it can keep pulling hard till much later. Mine still kicks about 180bhp at 4900rpm, don't have rolling road graphs that go further.
