Default 6 hours of toil and sweat...

Debadged her this morning, then spent over 6 hours detailing...

    Before debadge and clean:

    After debadge and detail:

    The finished article:

    This is what I did:

    1) Got rid of the LS badges
    2) Washed using Megs gold and Megs microfibre wash mit, 2 bucket method, dried with Megs Water Magnet cloth
    3) Used Auto Glym Tar Remover to get rid of a few (sic) spots
    4) Clayed using Megs Quick Clay and Detailer
    5) Polished with Megs Crystal Polish and Megs foam aplicator and MF cloth
    6) Sealed/glazed with #21 with Megs foam pad and MF cloth
    7) Waxed (including alloys) with Megs NXT wax and Megs foam pads and MF cloth
    8) Sprayed tyres with Simoniz Tyre Black
    9) Gave side skirts and valences a once over with a cockpit shine pad
    10) Marvelled at how shiny my baby looks opened a beer to celebrate my first full detail

Neil, motor looking very nice there, do you have any spray wax? I fully recommend it having been shown by BLR123 and used it myself. just wash once a week, apply whilst the car is damp and then wipe off. maintains the wax you have put on and keeps that show shine that took 6hrs to get!

Yes mate, the wax I used was NXT spray wax, goes on easy and buffs up nice hopefully the roads should remain grit/salt free down here now so keeping that shine should be (!) fairly straight forward.
