    Hi Everyone,

In a seperate post yesterday, i mentioned that the bank had screwed up, thanks to not clearing funds in time.

    But get this:

Was all sorted this morning, money was there, then i get a call from the VX dealer at 11am, to inform me my nice 2006 SRI 150, has failed the MOT on a broken front spring.

So after rusing my ass off to get sorted and get the car today, i still dont have it!

Not getting it until tomorrow afternoon, as i insisted i want both front springs replacing before I take owndership of the vehicle!

The gotcha is, i had to go to the dealers today to sign my car over to them, as my insurance was due to expire at 4pm!!!

Hows that for a kick in the balls!

Very true, both front springs replaced is no bad thing,
I had both of mine go eventually on my previous 1.8 SXI.

Couldnt believe it when I got the call though, so at present im still thrashing around in my Dads New Veccy SRI with only 3,000k on the clock!

On a seperate note, considering im gettin the SRI 150, is it worth extending the warranty for another year, i think the cost is £495.

The only thing that is tempting me to do it, is the fact of the EGR/Swirl valve/DMF etc. Although apparently in the extended year, nothing to do with the clutch is covered regardless.

    Any thoughts?

umm could you not have just called your insurance company and change the switch over in insurance to tomorrow instead?

    Nope,

Had to ditch my previous providor, as they wanted an extra £600 for the joy of the SRI 150, I told them where to go.

Anyway, any thoughts on the extended warranty

    Too true.

Has anyone ever had issues with the Rear ones?

Don't seem to have heard many people having problems with them, myself included?

Obviously theres a lot more weight on the front end, which probably answers the question!
