    Default Stereo PINs & code entry

    Wheres the best place to buy em from for the standard VX headunit? Need to whip mine out soon to fit some bits. (PS my local vx is useless.. hardly stocks anything)

    Also, its entering the code same as on the vec Bs? (i know i could look im manual but thought id ask while on here!)

    i got mine from the stealers, had to take my v5, id and the stereo, £25.00 and 5 mins later he came back with the radio code and the imobiliser code put the code in stereo turns on job done

    Halfrauds or Ebay is your best bet for the pins.

    Entering the code is different for each HU. They are all in the book. Alternatively let me know the model of your HU and presuming i am allowed by the MODS i will post the relevant details.

    dont think you need codes on the facelift..also you can use electrical screw drivers instead of the proper pins .

    I always used screwdrivers previously but couldnt get my VX HU to remove with them.

    Hi thanks chaps!

    Basically i need to pull it out, attach parrot, and a denison then put it back in!

    So all i need is pins from halfords? Its a 2006 sri, the headunit is basic CD30! I just thought i needed to put code in as sure i saw a code in my documents? But if car knows headunit.. then sound!
