    Default Ordered one

OK - I know it's 12 weeks away but, I've decided to start spending the kids inheritance.

I have ordered an Insignia 2L diesel 160PS Exclusive with 18" alloys and fog lights upgrade in the new "black" - That's Glacier White. ( I considered the satnav version but who on earth pays £900 for a satnav?)

I'm trading in my 54 2.2 direct petrol Signum Elegance with 37k on the clock- but if I can sell it private before then, then all the better.

I wonder how many corporate 3 day test drives I could book before then ?

Sounds nice especially in white and I think you are right about the sat nav but could be harder to sell.

Come on spill the beans how much did it cost and what did they offer in PX?

Worth having the satnav IMO - i love it plus the larger screen is useful for all the settings you can adjust. Also the Bluetooth is good if your phone works with it (had to change mine to a Nokia).

Plus using a double layer DVD i have managed to get over 100 Albums on one disk (enough to drive to Instanbul without hearing same song twice !!)

Got satnavs rattling round the house and not only does the CD player play mp3 cds but it has an aux socket - so my 4,500 tracks on my mp3 player will work a treat.

As to how much it's cost
Let's just say it's costing me "around" £11.5K to change

The 18" alloys for me are a must as as standard the Exclusive comes with plastic wheel covers!

I will NOT NEVER EVER use a mobile phone in the car ever again - even with hands free. I had a company car for years and I had car hands-free kits fitted. One day I set off from Stockton and took a call just after I left - when I got to Penrith I realised I had very little recollection of the journey - I vowed then never again. They can leave a message and I'll stop and ring back.

Leave the kids nothing matey, enjoy it while you can, no doubt the same as us, they will end up doing quite nicely out of the property sale after were gone anyway. I never received a penny from my parents, though in our case the kids are better off than us anyway...lol, at least the eldest son is anyway.

Re. The SatNav option on the Insignia, I certainly payed less than £900 for the Nav option, though order was back in December, so prices may have risen since then.
I notice that they intend to raise new car prices by another 1K, thats a increase of 2K since I receved mine at the end of January, maybe it will help offset the usual small fortune one loses when buying new..lol
