    Default Pressure Washer Connections.

We've had a few queries recently regarding which type of connector is needed for various Pressure Washers when fitting a Snow Foam Lance.

This Pic. will give you a starting point although it's always worth contacting the supplier to confirm.

Thanks to Rushy for the suggestion.

Speak to Autobrite direct, they will have the correct fitting for you mate. Its either the Kew/Alto or the Lavor.

I have some pressure washer questions. Is Karcher the justified brand leader? Are any of the others good machines? How much pressure do I need to ensure a useful machine? Are secondhand/refurbished machines worth it? I am on a budget.

    Cheers.

They used to be, but not any more mate. The new Karchers are like the CDTi, they keep breaking down.

When mine went I followed advice from Detailing World and bought a Nilfisk and very happy I am too.

I bought an Alto pressure washer which are the best affordable ones. Alto, formerly Kew invented the pressure washer. The thing about Alto is that the pump and connection is all metal, unlike the Karcher plastic connections. They are now called Nilfisk-Alto.

Excellent. Had a look on eBay and they look like great value. Thanks, chaps!

Don't suppose anyone has the Cougar 1750W pressure washer? It's just a cheapy but does the job and I've NO clue what connector it needs. Can't find any info about it online.

If its for a foam lance just match up from the on post 1. If your getting a lance from autobrite (there 39 quid at the moment through the club) then just tell them what you have and they will send you the correct one out.
