    confused Rear Electric windows.

Anyone have any ideas on how to bypass the second pin on the loom as mine dosent have one? its the one for the big thick red or brown cable, and its on the car side of the loom, i have the internal door looms and everything but no second pin as explained in one of the how to's on here!

any ideas would be very much apreciated.

what it is, is that i got the door looms, motors etc but on the car side, the the loom here has no extra port on it for the pin to go into.

Apparently its just needs a 12v live feed and you can just enlarge the hole in the connector and feed the wire through it,hth.........

i see in that case you are like many others me included in the same boat it is nearly impossible to do as the wiring simply is'nt there. There was some other people who were going to attempt to retrofit but i don't know if it ever came about you could try using the search under rear electric windows you never know maybe someone has done it by now!

cool well iv had a closer look and it looks to me that i wont be able to do it as my body loom is missing a hell of alot more wires that i originally thought. oh well maybe if i find a body loom somewhere i could do it! (i like a challenge and people say its very hard, well maybe im stupid but hey lifes too short to worry about it! and i know a bit about this sorta stuff anyway!!!) anyhow, if i cant then i cant lol!!!

You need the rear loom that connects to your existing loom, have you not got the loom,as long as you've got the 2 pins in your plug as per How2 then its dead simple..........

nah, iv not got all the required cables on the body loom, iv got the looms for the doors, but not enough pins on the main body loom into the door e.g the brown into the door, the 2 white cables etc that all go from the car into the door.
