Received a letter on Saturday

So i called them this morning and my car has been seen parked up at an address there investigating recently , which is strange cause i only go from my house, to work, back and asda at the weekend.........

She said to me can you advise if you have a vauxhall vectra ......
Yes i said , whats the reg no your referring to NV52KBZ i replied....... erm.. thats my old one, and sold it back in SEPTEMBER 2008 ... oh she said, its still showing as registered to you, even though i signed all docs, i dont think the new owner has done anything......

Am i liable for any fines that may come through my door, what can i do

As i got the car from ford wokingham i traded it in, and prob they sold it at auction........

Holly Jumping beans Batman! Errr.... If that car get any tickets, parking fines, anything... if your the recorded owner... YOU foot the bill. Unless you can prove otherwise. So did you not send off the updated V5???

I was told no action had to be taken from my side ? And that Ford Wokingham would do all paperwork on my behalf

Anyone got DVLA phone number handy

lol, YOU are responsible for all the docs as the seller...i got caught out by this before, though after a few phone calls saying id sold it ect ect i got away with it - they saw i had another car and my old one had been insured by someone else and took my side
