Aluminium

Someone mentioned the other day that the Vectra c bonnet is aluminium, are there any other panels made of ali as well?

Also...................

I got a puncture this afternoon and have had to put the silly spare wheel on the car. I am working at 4am tomorrow and I travel over 60 miles there and back. I can't get a new tyre until Tuesday. I will only do less than 50mph but is there a maximum distance involved in using the spacesaver wheel?

Never used one but if it's new there is plenty of tread. Think someone did a fair few mile in a thread some time back could be worth a search hth .................

I had mine on the over week, I did 20miles and the tyre and rim were both quite hot.

its 50miles at 50mph or 80km at 80kph dont go other this could blow!

Ive used one a few weeks ago, had it on the
front ! not fab, but it will get you out of trouble !
if you have to do the miles and its a front tyre
that has the space saver, i would swop it and
put it on the back !
