Pre-facelift grill colour?

I am not a big fan of chrome and i have had the plain irmscher grill which i always thought like the car had something missing. So i intend to colour code the grill as other members have done (just top and 'v' leaving chrome surround. which grill do you think looks best?

next week i am going to get the grill sorted just need to go scrappers and get a spare grill. where is the best place to get place paint? what should i use as a primer? when i clear it should i shove it in the oven? if so what temp?

try putting some mesh in as it looks miles better than any irmsher grill (and its alot cheaper)
