Just back from France !

Got back from my French fishing trip near Sens, 80 miles SE of Paris, very late last night after a very enjoyable week (even though i caught .... 0 fish) !
Weather was very warm by day, got a bit of a tan going but about -3c/-4c at night which made catching the carp very 'hit & miss'. 11 anglers on the lake only 5 caught fish with the biggest going 39lb 12oz on the scales.
I took some pictures of the lake and when my mate drops my gear off i'll post a couple of them up.

Had a blowout on the M1 (in a Peugeot Boxer van) on the way, in the outside lane...........brown trouser moment for sure !
Wheel was totally wrecked, so we had to then find a tyre AND wheel !

With the aid of Mark Gsi3.2, Plasma and soulman (thanks guys), we got sorted out and got back on our way catching the ferry with '7 MINUTES' to spare (the LD lines ferry from Dover to Boulogne was at 2.30pm) the next one was at 2.30pm the next day, so we cut it a little fine !

Saw a nice Lamborghini Gallardo on the M20 near Folkstone last night blasting through the tunnel, couldn't be in a better place to hear it as it blew past........FERKIN AWSOME !

So there yer go, nice break from work but too early in the year to get some big carp on the bank .
I'll be off over again hopefully in september, a nice lake 5 minutes from Le Mans, water shoud be nice and warm by then and the carp feeding like bu99ery ! Bring it on !

Glad you had a good time, 7 minutes to spare catching the ferry is plenty! Pity you blanked with the fishing though, but maybe you shouldnt be dangling AG or Megs products on the end of your hook lol. Fish like to eat not clean! catch ya later mate
