Thumbs up If your are going to the USA !!

Ok a bit of a bum subject title.

I've just got back from 24 days in Florida and whilst the wife was looking around Wal-Mart's food section I had a browse in the car section and found the following :-

    3 x 16inx16in micro-fibre detailing towels - $2.27
    Meguiars Cleaning Wax 8oz + pad - $6.28
    Meguiars Quick Detailer 16floz - $5.99
Meguairs Gold Class Clear Coat Wax - $9.99
Megauiars Glod Class Liquid Wax - $9.99
All prices excluded state tax @ 7%.

With an exchange rate of £1.00 = $1.70 when I went these where bargains

So if your are off ona trip to the US pop in to Wal-Mart and leave the trainers and jeans alone.

The only down side was the my own Vectra had the NSF window done while I was away and Autoglass have damaged both the paintwork and the the door card in replacing the glass.

So once it's back from being repaired I'll put my new cleaning products to the test.

Yeah the Car was done whilst I was away, private drive etc. My daughter sorted out the £50 excess and then before they dissappeared she spotted all the scratches and took some pictures. She alos got the chap to sign on th ework sheet that he had damaged the car and that I would be dealing with it upon my return.

I think a chimp could have doen a better job, it's in the repair shop now, compelte door respray, new door card and speaker grill.

Wal-Mart (USA) they had more car cleaning products than your local Tesco's has Pet food - I was a little bit lost with some of them, but I've read the good reports about meguairs and hence brought some, no problems with customs on the way back either.

They had wax's from $3.99 to $21.99 many of which I had never heard of.

I'll be reading alot more on each of the products before I use them, I have th etienm as my car will take a week and they are going to re-fit the window too as it's not correct.

Might be worth checking out the local power tool shops aswell if anyone is heading out to the US, see if porter cable 7424's are much cheaper over there. I'm kinda gutted that we've had to cancel our holiday to florida later this year, but don't think it would be right to take a 3 week old baby on a 10 hour flight. I'll be asking my dad to have a look for me tho, i'm sure he won't mind dragging my mum around the tool shops.

Customs men would have a shock finding car cleaning products instead of the usual stuff brought into the country
I can just see their faces now

Think it's ASDA, the Wal-Mart site has Rollback all over it.

Tis too, says so on the Asda site.
