    Default Outside Tempertaure Gauge

Just piked up my new car. An 06 SRI CDTI 150.

The outside temp guage on the middle display shows --/- is this a fault or do I need to press something to activate?

The dealer had the front bumber resprayed so might have to have taken this off to do and i've read that sometimes sensors pack up?

I know it's not a major issue but would be nice to know.

    Thanks in advance.

Can anyone give me some in depth instructions on how to reconnect and where to find it as I don't want to start ripping my new pride and joy to bits!

ie. Do I need to remove grille etc and how to go about?

    Thanks.

Isn't it clipped to the grill at the bottom or at least that is where I thought I remember seeing it?

Go and have a look underneath.

Thought it was done there, easy enough to plug it back in rather than take it back. I am sure he just wanted to know where it is.
