did he get issued with a ticket, or told he will be reported and summonsed for court?
Has he got any points as it is now...how long been driving etc
on tv on one of those police shows the police said that under 92mph the case is dealt with a fixed penalty and 3 points, over that it goes to the court system and may be a short ban,if you are oulled over the police can be lienient as the bloke on tv was doing 93mph,over 100mph is usualy an instant ban so your mate may get 4-6 points and a fine
It depends.
I believe it will be a summons - usually for over 96 mph (in a 70mph zone) I remember hearing somewhere.
Depends what they come up, but it could well be a ban - be prepared for the worst.
Did they, well he must have been lucky. I've heard of people getting bans for that speed.
If it goes to court, who knows what they'll decide exactly. Just have to bite the bullet.
was a camera van so he got nip in the mail today so don't know if it'll be fixed penalty.i would expect him to get summonsed at that speed
if it was a camera it will be standard blanket policy for the force, will just have to wait and see. If he is summonsed, i woud guess at around 5 points and a couple of hundred quid fine. Unlikely to get a ban, you never know though, if he upsets the magistrates!!
he was very lucky indeed as he actualy argued with the police for a while saying heor his wife needed to go to the toilet urgently, the bloke was clocked doing this speed over about 8 miles, the police told him he could have stopped at several turn offs and had past a supermarket, the car was originaly picked up on the motorway cameras, how this bloke got away with this i dont know, the police officer mst have been in a very good mood (or they had reached their quota)
