Another "Improvement" compeleted!!!

I picked up my VXR steering wheel today, so thought I would put it straight on!!

Here's the original SRi/Design Sports steering wheel we all know and love!



Heres the new VXR steering wheel.



So airbag off, ready for the swap.




With the steering wheel off, it gave me the opportunity to investigate a small but annoying rattle/buzzy noise from the steering column shroud, so a little padding here and there and it's cured.



Then on with the new wheel. I had to swap over the looms though, as the steering wheel came from an Astra VXR, the plug on the loom for the steering wheel controls is different. Easy to do though and took about 1/2 hour in all.

A much improved feel I must say, I really regretted leaving the VXR steering wheel on the Astra when I sold it! But all's well that ends well!!
