Rear tailgate badge - Part Number 13266396 Retails at £18.40 + VAT

This is pretty much identical in size to the Vectra C and Signum tailgate badge. You will need to remove all the clips from the back, add some double sided trim tape and stick on your tailgate.

Wheel Centres - Part Number 13242423 Retails at £2.57 + VAT each + VAT

Based on the original Vauxhall 18" and 19" Wheel centres, prize out the original badge and the dark grey disc from the wheel centre cap.

Using the Insignia wheel centre, cut off the clips off the back of the new centre and remove the locating ring, basically to ensure that the back of the new wheel centre is flat and no clips showing. Get hold of some of the black sicoflex glue, add a dollop on the original wheel centre and fit the new wheel centre on the top, but make sure it's central! Leave to dry and then fit back on your wheel.

Regarding Vauxhall's 17" wheels that have just a small round wheel centre, the new Insignia may just clip into place but I have not tried this.

Steering wheel - Part Number 13242423 Retails at £2.57 + VAT

There are two ways of doing this, reversable and non reversable. Firstly you need to emove the chrome griffin from the new Insignia wheel centre. Then remove the lugs and clips to ensure it is flat.

Option 1 Reversable - Get some black vinyl and cut out a disc the same size as the new badge. The new badge is the same diameter as the giffin on your airbag. Stick the vinyl disc on your original griffin and using a hair dryer ensure it is well stuck down. Then using trim tape stick on the new badge. With this method you can't tell the old griffin is still there unless you look very very closely and the edge of the new badge fits snugg to the airbag.

You can then remove should you wish at a later date.

Option 2 Non reversable - Remove you airbag, and using a dremmel, slowly grind back the original griffin until it has been gradually rubbed away leaving just a flatish disc. Locate some seperate black plastic sheet and make a new disc for the new griffin to sit on. Once this has been fitted use sicoflex and glue the new complete badge to the airbag.

I have done both, the second option on an old deployed air bag and to be honest with the extra work involved, it does'nt look much different to the reversable option.

Front grill - Insignia front grill badge required Part No TBA £140 + VAT

Firstly you need the Opel chrome grill panel, or OPC primered version to replace your V grill. This will fit perfectly once the V has been removed.

The reason the Insignia badge is so expensive is because you have to buy it with the complete grill. So remove the badge from the grill and fit to your Opel grill, which is within 2mm of the Insignia badge. Job Done

Front grill keeping your V Part Number 13266396 Retails at £18.40 + VAT

Remove the original griffin, make a new black disc to mount the new badge and then fit to the front in place of the original, it is slightly bigger than the original but looks OK. I am sure Shan has done his this way.

    Hope this helps!
