Default CDTi fanbelt - easy change?

I'm about to change the auxilliary (fan) belt on my 04 CDTi 120. Is this as easy as it looks (on paper!) or is there any tricks to doing it?

Access looks pretty poor from the top, and as I've only got a driveway I can only take the wheel off to give more room.

you need to get under the car

the easy way is to jack the car up and take the under-tray off the car use a stand not just the jack

1,,,, 8mm bolt on the drivers side but also take your wheel off the drivers side

6 trox screws on the under tray ,,

2 8mm mm bolts in the passagers side wheel well just turn the wheel a bit and you will see them

when you look ut from the ground into the engine you see the roller you need to move for this you need a 15mm ring spanner .
pull the snanner down and you will move the roller and the belt just lifts over

Cheers. It does look pretty tricky from above. I'll have to wait until a nice dry day before I have a go.

no need to remove the under try just the plastick cover behind the drivers wheel. plenty of room just jack car up, axels stands are a good idear, turn the whel to the left and you can get at it all from there.
