    Guys

I'm going to get myself a socket set (as I've been borrowing the brother-in-laws for the past year!)

I already have a really good set of spanners so I'm really after sockets/ratchet 1/2" square drive for around £70-£80.

It would also need to contain some female Torx sockets as I've noticed that the Signum was built using pretty much only Torx nuts and bolts!!

Can anyone suggest a good set or indeed a main socket set and a seperate Torx set of sockets??

    Many thanks

Helfrauds Pro range is probably decent value for money for stuff that wil get some use.

Have you got a Halford trade card - much discount available with them.

I know it's a touch more than you wanted to spend, BUT http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...Id_165572#dtab looks fairly reasonable to me.

britool are my favourite and the torx bolts - a standard socket fits them perfectly

I think the full sets from Halfords are good value for money. They're doing a decent complete set including a 3 drawer tool chest at the moment on an offer. Even better if you have a trade card.

I have just bought myself the Halfords 120 piece set and I am really impressed with it!!

It has everything you will need to work on your car(except a breaker bar and 7 mm allen key for brakes). The quality is fantastic and well worth the £99 price tag!!
