I always said I'd go and get one when I turned 50, just to prove I wasn't past it.

My favourite tattoo quote is from the travel writer, Terry Darlington (Narrow Boat to Carcassonne. Great book) He decides in his 60's to get a tattoo, and goes for a Maori design. "What does it say", he says to the tattooist, "What do you want it to say?" "For my age and income group, my sexual performance is above average"
