Think i may have to go with this... Ive seen alot of people have been using it. What kind of brush should i use tho? I normally use the old tesco wheel brush but it has now fallen apart. Lasted well for £2 odd

if it's really that bad then the very cherry should be a bit stronger mix imo, just give it a damn good agitating with a small paint brush and rinse with plenty of warm water, if all else fails there is alway's 'wonder wheel's' as a last resort.......

Its not massively bad but very irritating, its like spots of dirt that just wont shift. Ill try the very cherry first then may have to try something stonger if that fails. im not massively worried as im going to refurb the wheels in the summer

It all depends what the dirt is, I usually throw everything at some wheels as they all remove part of what is there.
First its a foaming and brush with a vikan brush if that doesn't work then it gets bilbery wheel cleaner 1:5 and another brushing, the insides I use the EZ detail brush
The nut/bolt and other tight areas get done with either a swisvax wheel brush or a round paintbrush (Check out Lidl this week I think)

Then if that doesn't shift everything I use more bilbery at 1:3 and the brushes
Then if that hasn't shifted it meguiars super degreaser
Then I step up to tardis (tar remover) agitated with my fingers.
Then its use clay to remove everything else that may be left.

I haven't had to use anything harsher than those for a while, I used to use meguiars hot rims but that is a little harsh, I do have some Alloy bright but haven't needed to use it yet.
