    Default Is it worth having?

    Some help please.

I was looking at updating my Vectra B SRI 150 to possibly a 2.8T Elite, now my company maybe offering me a good deal on a 'new' CDTI 150 SRI Estate.

My question is as the title says, is it worth having?

Not had a diesel before and I am worried about changing over as this is a three year deal.

I realise it wont have the speck of the Elite but it is at a good price....Help!

Sorry I should have said. I was living on Dartmoor but have just moved to South Yorkshire because of work. However I still do a lot of miles...probably 30k + a year.

I assume you were planning on buying the 2.8T with your money and the company pays an allowance?

Go for the CDTI then especially if it's a good deal.

I would have bought the 2.8T on a loan. The SRI is on a lease deal and is much much cheaper. I do get an allowance + fuel card.

I guess the CDTI 150 move along OK just not instant speed as with the 2.8T.

If I get it I will have to adjust to drive on torque not revs

You'd be very surprised with the pace the 150 can muster on the motorway, very capable indeed.
