im not sure why anyone here seems shocked....are you not all used to it by now? the countries a joke, the govs a bigger joke, and this has been going on my entire lifetime ( more so since labour have been in power though.... ) does no one else just expect to be robbed blind?

here is something to think about.

"Many still can't understand why, even with a 30% loss in the value of the pound against the dollar, petrol is 90p a litre with oil at 45 dollars a barrel. In March 2007, the last time UK petrol cost 90p a litre, oil was priced at 68 dollars."

A week pound against the dollar is BAD for UK fuel prices, ie if oil is $50 / barrel and $2 = £1 - that's £25, BUT if $1.45 = £1 then the oil is £34.48 a barrel.......
