center speaker suprise

Today. after all the recent chatter about center speakers, I decided I'd pull my stereo out and see if A) I had one, B) I could connect it up. My dad's pretty good with electronics, so got him over to help

So out comes my stereo, (Kenwood KVT-625) behind it is a LOT of cable. So I search through all of them..... can't find anything that looks like it could be the center speaker..... Thinking it maybe part of the loom, I search the net to find out what colour the wires in the loom may be, that relate to said speaker.... I dont have much luck. I start trying to pull the dash apart to have a look.... I think at this point its a good idea to play some music to get me motivated...... So I'm leaning over the dash..... screwdriver in hand, while the CD player starts up.... to my suprise I get deafened as the sound of the who blasts into my ear from the center of the dash!

To my suprise i do have a center speaker, and it was already working!!!!

A lesson to you all..... if you are going to fix something, check that its not actually working before you do
