    Question Get you home code

    If a ecu goes into get you home mode [ safety mode ]
    how do you clear it tec2 ? and what code number would it be
    we are getting no signs it is this but the engine will not rev above 2500
    its a diesel 2l in a 04 reg vectra c

    Disconnect the battery over night for example and the ECU should re-learn itself.

    Does it not reset after you turn the ignition off? If its still in limp mode, you'll need to get the fault code read and reset at VX

    Default EGR Valve again?

    Sounds similar to my symptoms, not reving over 2000-2500.

    I did have fault codes but was resolved by cleaning out the EGR valve both sides.
