    Default Wiring an amp...How have you connected yours? Earth?

    Connected my sub and amp up today...just basic unit right now had my old one nicked out of my old car....what to know how have you connected your wiring ie under the seats? and Where have you got your earths connected?...Pics will help..Thanks

    I got my done professionally and this guy connected earth wire to a screw under the rear seat sorry I can't provide any pics.

    Look out for a nearby nut and use a yellow ring or a spade crimp connector on a beefy wire which is as short as possible. Also remember to make a good connection by scratching away at the paint under the nut.

    I've done that on all of my Sub / Amp installations.

    yeh i have connected it up and its all working but just wanted to know where the most discret place was to put it so alll the wires would be hiden...

    I would cut a slit in the carpet by the amp terminals so the wires go under the carpet and only come up right by the amp.
