Hi mate the AIR BOX MOD is when you take the HALF TRUMPET SHAPED piece of plastic out of the standard fit air box. If you remove the top of the box and lift out the panel filter you will see a piece of plastic that looks like a HALF A TRUMPET coming from left to right from the air box. To remove this bit ,all you do is put a couple of fingers into the end of it and give it a quick pull and it comes off. What this is doing is resticting the amount of air coming in as you will notice on the filter it's half dirty half clean. Doing this mod lets more air in to help the engine breath more easily. Fitting a K and N will help even more too. Try Ebay for the K and N they seem to be a bit cheaper on there.

    Hth you mate.

Again, bud look for a damaged GSI, 2.0T, VXR etc on ebay etc or just pop in to your local VX dealer. All the How2's are in here.
