    Dear mark s****d,

There was a bank processing error.

As a result, this bank account has been removed from your PayPal account. Please contact your bank for more information or add a new bank account. Please do not contact PayPal because this is entirely an issue between the account holder and their bank.

I had an email the other day skipped my spam filter and had my name (correct), the fact that my card was about to expire (correct) and the last 4 digits (correct), emailed to spoof@paypal.com and they replied saying it was fake. Me being the trusting kind clicked the link with no intention of entering any details and it had been shut down.

Be very careful doing that (i.e. best not to) as you can often end up on a site that's loaded with a nasty payload, and if you're not up to date with your AV or there are unpatched exploits in your browser then you could end up with a nasty dose of something just by simply visiting the site.

Its not a biggy. Im a trained IT engineer (waiting for the recession to die down) and tend to look after my PC as I look after my car. Im one of those people that reply to scammers with interest then tell them where to go. Thanks for the warning though

Be careful with phone companies ringing you, I had an 0800 number last week, I refused to give info and when I called my network they said they hadn't phoned me.

I had a similar thing the last time my card was about to finish but in my case it was kosher. We need to always question these things I also used spoof@paypal.com .....

I had a so called email from AOL saying my acount details were out of date but thought it seemed a bit funny so called them and they confirmed that it was a scam and were aware of it. So why did they not send a email out to all members warning them
