It can BTW! But only in cars from July 2004 onwards.

Never heard of the Twin Audio being fitted in the rear of the centre console. I only thought it came fitted on the Travel Assistant on the Signum. You got some piccies of yours on the centre console? - curious to see what it looks like.

I don't have the Twin Audio. It seemed to only be available if you had the CDR 2005. As mine came with the CCR 2006 it wouldn't have been an option.

    as requested,

with this in mind, do the rear door leccy window switches have a tweeter in as standard on your cars ?

this is possibly why my car ( demo model ) never came with the travel assistant ??
as it might ' cramp ' any rear passengers , lol

another thing is that my car did have the single cd 2005 stereo fitted, but i later upgraded it to the CCR 2006 , the twin audio works perfect with it ,

Yes, I have the rear tweeters in mine i.e 9 speakers as it came with the CCR 2006. Cars with the CDR 2005 came with 7 speakers so I assume you don't have a tweeter behind those covers?

Your model, 2003 Design wouldn't have come with a Travel Assistant as standard. It was only standard on Elite models of that year.

Now that I am very interested to hear as Vx's literature implied that Twin Audio only worked on the CDR2005!! I can feel a mod coming up!!! LOL. I think the rear console is a neater place for it - it also means that it's still availabe if the Travel Assistant is taken out. My only 'problem' is that I was thinking of adding the heated pads to the rear seats, and the switches go where the Twin Audio is on yours!! You obviously can't have both!! So if I wanted both it wold be heated seats switches in the rear centre console and Twin Audio in the Travel Assistant!

Time for a think (and pricing up of the Twin Audio unit!!)

Not sure if that will work? I've already got the wiring for the heated switches in the rear centre console - just need to add the switches and the seat pads and that's it. Not sure how/where I could put the switches and wiring into the Travel Assistant?

No problems with both I think. An insert with heat switches and power out is availible.

Blimey - very old thread resurrected!

Those parts don't say anything about having both the heated seats and the Twin Audio though. You can have the 12v socket with the heated switches or the Twin Audio by itself but I can't see how you can have both in the front tunnel console - or have I missed something?
