    Was it on?

Give it a few days with all the covers off and pray.

Some advice I got from a mobile repair person - if you get your phone wet, immediately take the battery and sim out and leave to dry somewhere warm for a day or two and it should be fine.

    Washing machine though, lol

I'd hazard a guess that it is now an ex phone, it has ceased to be.
Not much chance of it working again.

Lucky it wasn't your wallet, or you could've been done for money laundering

hope it works at least until you can get insurance for when it does break down.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news , but the phone is going to be knackered. It may be fine for a few weeks or maybe even a months but it is now terminally ill. Mobile phones are generally 13 layer pcb's and once fluid ingresses , its game over. What will happen is due to expansion when there is a current flowing through an internal track will become open circuit or short circuit , so may even be fine for most uses. But in my experience something will not function properly from receiving a proper signal or even the quality of the call.
