Having just bought one at the weekend (we ended up buying it at Tesco though as we had a ton of Clubcard vouchers to use) one of the best deals was Amazon where you got the Wii Play free with a console. Wii Play is 9 daft little games and another controller. I can't see any bundles with the Wii Fit board though.

Even looking at places like Game they're not really doing any bundles with the Wii Fit - it still costs you £70 on top of the console.

If you're multiplaying then you will need to buy Wii Play for the mini-games and the extra controller - also, depending on which games you get, you will probably also need another nunchuck to go with the extra wii play controller (they're about £12 various places on the net).
Can recommend Wii Fit (£68 Tesco direct not bundled with the console, free delivery with the SIM card trick) fun for all the family - my 3 year old holds the snowboarding record, my 8 year old holds the skiing record, and bizarrely my wife has all the rest!

Mario & Sonic at the Olympics is pretty good fun with a group of people, but defo need at least two controllers and nunchucks (often we have friends over with their kids for a takeaway and get them to bring their controllers with them!)

But can recommend Mario Kart for solo play and multiplaying - more fun with a wheel but best using a gamecube controller for quickest times!

Golden rule of consoles - don't imagine you'll be up and running for the console RRP, it's always much more than that - games, extra controllers, cable for your tv etc.

But defo use the straps and silicone jackets for the controllers...

I bought my Wii and Wii fit the other week from Toysrus.

Was the Wii, with 2 controllers, 2 steering wheels, 1 nunchuck, Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Mariocart, Wii Fit and the balance board.

    £298 all in.

And if your clever or know someone who is, then i heartily recommend getting it "homebrewed". Look it up on Google ;-)

    - I keep pricing up a nice setup at Game (I have a loyalty card there, and they can reverse-apply the points from buying the console to knock money off the deal) and it easily comes to 3x the console price...
