well i put it plastic side up ?

that probably means that the steel hooks are not well placed

na the hooks at the back seam fine its the front end where the problem lies

no it came out of a signum prefacelift, just don't sit low enough to clip into the base like where it came out of ? saw it come out pull the Handel and out it popped. mine it rests 2/3 inches above where it needs to be

Dumb question maybe - but you do have the connector socket in the floor where the base locks into and makes the electrical connection? If you don't then that will make the base sit up higher than it should be. It'll also mean the TA isn't at all secured.

Aha, therein lies the problem! I just had a hunch that you may not have had the socket from what you were describing.

I sold my TA to a guy and it fitted in his 04 Signum elite without a problem. I had it in my 06 Signum.
Is their any difference ?

No, no difference shan - the problem lump had was as per my post #12 and 14 - he doesn't have the floor socket in his car.
