Default Any Access Pass Control experts here?

I’ve been asked to do some prelim research into CCTV and Access Pass Control systems for close a friend. The job of sourcing, acquiring and installing this system has literally fallen on his shoulders as he’s a junior official for a foreign body.

As part of that effort I thought it I'd ask any vec-c members if they can point me in the right direction towards any reputable company or individual with extensive experience in this field. Please don't post a Googled link unless you've had some exposure with that company and can reccomend them.

    Please pm any personal contacts.
    Many thanks

    izon

best advice would be to contact the local constabulary and local council
i'm sure they would have a list of approved companys
on the s.i.t.o and a.p.c.o. lists

I have used Paxton gear many times when installed access control systems to buildings. There website is http://paxton.co.uk/ and should give you plenty of information to point you in the right direction as to what you require for your needs.

The gear is not cheap to be fair (no access control system is to be honest) but works really well, they provide good support and they equipment is very hard wearing. You can even find some eBay bargains too.

As with most things, shop around, prices can vary from retailer to retailer.
