    Thumbs up moulded mudflap question

    Hello peeps, just got some moulded mudflaps, and will be spraying them the same colour as my car, quick question on prepping them, how did you prep yours???? i was just going to wet and dry them a bit, to make them a bit smoother, prime, paint, then laquer them, will that do lol...

    Sounds about right,just remember to use plastic primer,pic's when done m8.........

    It was mentioned before I did mine to wash them in very hot soapy water 1st. I can't remember why, but it was probably to remove any residue from when they were made and for the 10 minutes it takes to boil the kettle and give them a soak it's worth it. Mine havn't flaked so it can't do any harm.
