i have had a letter from drive vaux saying they have 'good news' about the value of my current car(07 1.8 exclusive). I'm going to phone them tomorrow when i feel fed up at work so that they can lift my spirits

any guesses on the paltry offer i will recieve??

I have a 07 1.8 exclusiv so your news would be interesting.

Glasses guide says £5400 with 11,000 miles on clock for mine.
I paid £10,995 for it brand new 2 years ago,so its dropped 50% of its value already!

Just on a side note,a few dealers that i have been to see are still quoting list prices(various makes and models).Someone needs to tell them theres a recession on.
