    Default Middle rear seat belt.

Anyone had a problem where the middle rear seat belt has jammed. It seems to have locked and cannot be used.

Is the seat in the securing mounts properly? There is an interlock that prevent use if the seat isn't properly secured. Try releasing the seat back and then pushing back firmly

The problem did seem to happen after I had dropped the seats forward. I will investigate and report back, maybe I damaged the interlock.....

The seatbelt works on an Inertia lock.... if the seat has been dropped forward the locking pin may have stuck in..... just release the seat and give it a bit of a shake and this should cure it.

Its similar to the problem some older seat belts have when you park on a steeop hill and can't put the belt on cos the inertia pin has dropped into the lock because of the angle the car is at!!! A good shake should fix it!!!!

Managed to sort the problem, there is a "stopper" fitted to the seat belt to stop the seat belt retracting to far, somehow the "stopper" had gone past the bracket of the seat belt, I had to undo the seatbelt from the anchoring under the seat, this released enough slack so I could force the stopper past the bracket, this cured the problem.
