Angry I ran out of fuel yesterday....

Serious, I was doing 60mph on a single carriageway, few stutters and the old girl shut down on me, range flashing "0" !!!!!!!!

Just to retain a bit of pride, my fuel gauge has stuck just under a quarter!!

Thought she was going well on what fuel was left !!! What an experience, anyone else ever ran out of fuel ???

Once in the middle of the night in Germany on the slip road of the autoban. Couple stoped & picked me up, drove a couple of miles & dropped me back. Very happy top up on the way. Not my car a Land Rover guy didnt have a clue about it. Stopped in Hungary lets just check levels, oil very low. We made it home no indicators working hazards & pull out lots of scary people. .............

I made the mistake of parking on a slope when the guage read zero... I knew there was fuel left, but because of the angle it wouldn't start. Pushed it on to the road with the help of a friend (who thought it was hilarious!) but still no luck so we drove for 20 mins in rush hour to find a petrol station and then got ripped off for a plastic can!
