If it was my money, it would be the BSR.

OK, you'll pay more for it, but you're paying for experience. No dis-respect to ChippedUK.

Chipped Uk are an Approved Trader, although I dont know if anyone has had their 2.0T on here done by them?

I know quite a few have used the BSR remap and I dont know of one that was dissapointed. I would imagine the results to be similar, but with the BSr you always have the option to revert back to standard for whatever reason, then reload the map in again yourself.

I am biased! , and no disrespect to Chipped UK, but you definitely will not be disappointed with the BSR unit. Not one person on the forum, that I'm aware of, is in any way disappointed - you only need to look at all the comments in the Petrol Tuning section. It's not just the total bhp etc. you get at the end of the remap, it's how this is delivered - along with changes to boost pressure, fuelling, timing. etc. etc. - and the BSR does it superbly. It totally transforms the car.

As said, the great thing about the BSR unit is that you can revert back to original for servicing etc. I'm assuming that the BSR one is more expensive than the Chipped UK offerings, but it is an excellent product. The BSR stuff is extensively tried and tested by Saab, Volvo, Audi, Opel/Vx owners to name a few.

Oh yes!!! Here's a thread I posted last year with my thoughts on it. Other guys subsequently bought it, and you'll finds threads by them in the same section.

As remaps go, and given the fact that you get the remapper box (to tune and revert to original) I'd say it's a fair price. The quality of the remap is superb. BSR do looooads of testing on the cars before they release the software.
