    Default Tyre advice required!!!!

I noticed today that one of my front tyres is wearing on the inside edge, only had the tracking done last month due to tie rod worn for MOT,so searching for some different tyres.Currently have Khumo's on and want a better tyre, after 2 just for the front, have seen these and think they are a good price........

What do you all think? Any suggestions required,i'm currently running 225/40/18............

I've always trusted Pirelli P Zero Nero's. Very good grip in the dry and one of the best in the wet too! I only had them in 17x205/45 and i got them for £60 fitted each!! This was last year as i don't have these wheels anymore

The inside edge tyre wear would be a result of the initial wear
Without tracking this wear would have continued to a worse degree
It is always best to perform tracking when the tyres on the front are new or swapped from the rear to the front

I suggest you take the rear tyres and put them on the front, and put the new tyres on the rear
At the same time get the tracking rechecked, the place that did this should do it free (most places only charge for adjustment)

Finally, stay with the same tyres, no matter what you had put on they would have worn with that pattern!

11K miles isn't so bad if they have only ever been on the front
You can get about 20K miles out of a tyre if you swap them rear to front as you wear out the fronts

If you are looking for tyres that will last a long time, or are a high mileage driver, then consider Michelin Primacy HP
These are slightly harder tyres and will last about 20% longer, but you will pay slightly more (but the cost per mile will be less)

I am currently waiting for Good Year to come back with a suitable tyre for me to compare to the GSD3
