Default Wheel wobble at speed, after changing to 314discs

    Hi

    Just thought id better ask...

A little while ago, I upgraded the brakes to 314 (via the SAAB route), i accept these were used and a little unknown of origin, but since they have been on, at speed when the brake pedal is pressed you get massive wheel wobble, there is no wheel wobble at all until the brake is depressed.

Do you guys feel its just a warped disc? or could it be the calipers?

    cheers...

Or there is some dirt stuck behind the disk giving it the appearence of being warped. Whip them off and have a clean behind them just incase something got trapped in there before splashing out on new disks.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Usually they don't actually warp, it's deposits of friction material from the pads that are left if they're not bedded in properly. But taking it apart and cleaning the hub with a wire brush is a good start.

Yep, in the part numbers section. £65+VAT for new discs and pads.
