Default My amp fuse keeps blowing?

As above, Im using a Kickers amp and thats in working order as i have tried in a mates car. As soon as i replace the fuse within minuits the fuse is blown, i checked for any short circuits cant find any. I have the earth wire attached to bolt holding the rear seats in place. The setup was working fine, been having the problem for the last month. Any suggestions, is it worth me replacing the power cable ? find somewhere else to earth it ? its driving me maddddddd

    Many thanks

could be overloading. is the cabling correct for the size of amp? have you changed the wiring to any speakers/subs? check the polarity is correct to whatever its wired to. I earthed mine to the rear light fixing, found this to be a good place. in my astra i had previous to the vec i had it wired to the rear seat fixing. I would also check there is good contact around that area, try removing paint until your down to bare metal

The earth should be as short as possible and scratch away at the paint as said above. What size fuse is it blowing? What size cable are you using?

There is a fuse on the power cable coming from the battery thats a 30 amp fuse i replace it with a 40 amp this time the fuse on the actual amp blew Im not too sure about the cable size

stick with the original size fuses, could cause damage if you dont. As i said try removing paint to get a better connection and that may sort your problem, if it doesnt try changing the place of your earth
