cd changer

I've just bought a sony cd changer off ebay, and was wondering where people fitted their's. It looks like I will have to fit it in the boot, but don't like the idea of it getting knocked around. Has anyone fitted theirs in the compartments in the side of the boot. I've got no instuctions with it, can it be fitted at any angle? I realise that the adjustors on the side allow it to be horizontal/vertical, can they be mounted on their side, and if so where do the adjustors need to be pointing.

Also how easy is it to get the cables to the headunit? is there plenty of room under the plastic sill protectors to get them under?

Well, Robin - here is mine - tucks nicely in underneath and out of the way - doesn't get knocked about at all! Drinky says it was really easy running the cables through, and there was plenty of room under the sill protectors, the wires just pushed underneath.

Mine is screwed straight into the carpeting and doesn't rattle about at all.

Oh yes, and I love the fact that my cd changer is the same colour as my car!!! (sorry, had a girly moment then - don't know what came over me!!!! )

there's usually a screw on the side of the changer which needs to be turned depending on the angle of the changer me thinks
