    Default EGR Valve again?

    Hi,
small piece of history, brought my car from Perrys MK, Peugot dealer, in dec, got the spanner light and limp mode a week or so ago . took it in to them, the code says EGR valve, they replaced that and gave it back.

three days later spanner light and limp mode is back.
Off to the Perrys dealer again and they say the code is the same as the EGR valve again. they have sent the car to Vauxhall in MK for them to look at.

Has Anyone had any experience of faulty new EGR? or could it be something else that is linked to the EGR to give same code?

VX MK have not looked at it yet as they are too busy (from the posts on this site, it would seem that the whole diesil range has issues and no wonder they busy)

Beginning to think i have brought into a world of problems by buying VX.
Any confidence boosters will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Check for any split boost hoses first.

They're good motors. If they go wrong all you need is a competent mechanic, as the fault codes can be tricky to understand correctly.
