3.2 Signum vibration under power - ideas?

My Signum 3.2 (160k miles) has developed over the last 1500 miles a vibration when under power (not on over run) the frequency seems to be more road speed than engine speed. At first thought it might be engine mounts with engine vibrating on the body but they dont look too bad.

Looking underneath there is a split inner CV boot on the shaft that extended from the box other wise all looks OK.

Any clues?

Not sure mate , but I have a full set of mounts for sale if you need em , 41000 miles.

Had a similar problem with a BMW, ended up replacing the front control arm/wishbone bushes, problem solved. Worth having a look.

my advice is get it into a garage asap. cv boots contain greese, if they split joints can quickly dry out, over heat causing a vibration. if left to long u risk damaging drive shafts. good luck
