    Default Connecting Rear Headrest Screens to CD70

    Hi all,

    Due to be taking delivery of a 55 plate 2.2 Vectra Elite today and it has a CD70 fitted within, as its been sitting in a car showroom i havent had a chance to play around with it as of yet, few question for all you wiring loom genius's;

    Firstly, i have a pair of head rest's with s7" creens already fitted into them, is it possible to get a picture feed from the CD70 to feed the headrests so all three displays would show the smae as the front screen (The CD70 has a colour display not monochrome)

    Can the CD70 hold more than one CD or is that a seperate CD Changer option? Also does the CD70 support MP3,

    Thanks in advance for your help,

    Larry - The Newbie

    The CD70 holds two CDs. One audio, one map. Yes, supports MP3 - you'll have to burn them to CD-R though. The only picture you'll get is the stereo display, sat nav mapping, and fuel computer. Quite why you want to replicate those omages to the headrest screens is anyone's guess.

    If you want to take a butchers at the handbook to see a list of its features:-

    Ha Ha Smart arse's............

    well im toying the idea with installing a double din pioneer head unit with bluetooth or just installing a DVD player with a feed switch fo they can either see the sat nav map or watch a film...........

    To be honest the CD70 seems a bit w*nk do you know if anyone has pics uploaded of a double din unit installed? just wondering how the interior looks with an aftermarket unit, ive searched but couldnt find nowt.....

    Plenty of people have double DIN's and you are right about the CD70. Go aftermarket if you want to feed other monitors.

    That looks smart!!!!

    If i remove the CD70 head unit what becomes of the Colour Display that installed in the dash??? Has anyone ever managed to run a video feed through it???

    On my old AVIC X1R it gave the option of displaying satnav on the main unit and the video output could be a film etc or vise versa just wondering if there was a way to feed a picture to the small display mounted in the dash i could have the best of both worlds.....

    If ya see where im coming from......
