    Question reverse parking sensors

    Hi Guys
I have just bought an aftermarket, set of reverse parking sensors off ebay in case my missus drives my signum, I was hoping to fit the sensors in the black plastic under the painted section of the bumper, This part of the car is only 40cm off the ground, and the manual says to put the sensors 50-65cm, this is on the bootlid so im not going to do that. Do any of you have experience of these kits or if you have factory fit sensors on your cars how high are they?, also I have to connect a wire to the reversing light, can anyone tell me what colour the reversing light wire is.
1 final question, in the boot behind the grille for the l/h rearlight I found some sort of multi connector can wrapped in foam on the end of a loom can anyone tell me what this could connect to?

    cheers

    Stu

I had a Vx aftermarket kit put on my Signum. They went on the bumper i.e the painted section. I certainly wouldn't put them on the black lip as I can't see how they be kept held in place on that section.

My dealer had a bit of fun fitting them which resulted in Vx modifying the instructions for dealers!!! I'll post the details when I have a bit more time.

As for the connector in the rear area - sounds like the connector for the towbar electrics.
