    Default front parking sensors

    can anyone help i have front parking sensors fitted
    but they are not factory fitted so they have a switch
    next to the aux in the tray . so what i want to do is make
    the proper vauxhall switch turn them on and off instead
    so has anyone done this and can it be done thanks

    hi
    should be easy m8
    if the switch is a push on push off
    just take a live from the passenger fuse box and run it through the switch and to the parking sensor box then to take the earth from that and earth it.

    Cant you wire it into the brake lights so you can activate them by touching the break and slowly moving forward

    The dash switches only make the connection whilst the switch is still being pressed in, so no luck wiring them directly. You could bodge a timer in though.

    There are some kits out there where the brake light actually triggers a timer to power the sensors. I use an 8 sensor Steelmate kit where the time is integrated to the control box. The reverese light powers the rear sensors and the brake light triggers a 30 second timer to power the fronts.
