Default What models have this fitted?

I'm looking for a replacement Heater Control Panel for my 56reg 1.9CDTi Design.

The question I need answered is does anyone know what models/editions were fitted with this panel so I can narrow down my search a little bit?

    Here's the panel:

I'll try and get a part number off it tomorrow. I know it has two rectangular plugs going into the back of it if that's any help?

Any help would be appreciated as I've drawn a blank with it so far....

    Cheers,

    Phil C

Depends on spec sheet mate. There are 3 types, basic AC which most cars have, Climate control which that is, or duel climate.

I thought it was just an odd variation of the standard air con/heater panel with the temperature in numbers instead of red/blue colours. So does it have the same internals as the standard panel. i.e can I just replace it with one?

So you reckon it's single zone climate control? The plot thickens......

I'll have another hunt around tomorrow.

    Cheers,

    Phil C

Well at least I know I can phone round some breakers with my part number at hand and see if they've got a Design (Maybe) or a VXR (Very doubtful).

    Cheers for the info Duncs

Just found this in my PDF Facelift Vectra brochure, which explains the system:

    "Air conditioning and automatic air
    conditioning. Air conditioning means
plenty of chilled air on hot days and
quicker demisting on damp days – plus a
    safer, fresher travelling environment all
year round. Vectra Design models fitted
with the latest automatic air conditioning
system offer many of the benefits of ECC
    – including maintenance of a constant
    temperature and a built-in sunlight
sensor – but with air distribution
    (windscreen, footwell etc) controlled
    manually and no central display."
